If you are anything like me, you look around your house and see all that needs done. You realize the last time you dusted, well you don’t actually know when that was. Keeping a house is hard work and with kids around keeping a clean house is like brushing your teeth while eating Oreos!
We need our houses to feel in order, so that we can in turn feel like life is in order. I get it! I challenge you to take a good hard look at how much time you put into having the kitchen clean, the toy room picked up, the floor all vacuumed and anything else that is nagging you before bed. These things are important, but not more important than your hubby and your time together.
The mess WILL still be there tomorrow, girl. But will the precious time to nurture your marriage? Don’t pass up that time for housework. Show your hubby that he means more to you then all that stuff.
If he sees that you leave the dishes undone to romp around in bed with him, I bet he will feel very valued and maybe even step up and do those dishes (hint, hint husbands)! Continue Reading
